At Ace Home Studio, I contributed to custom aluminium cabinetry projects through design work, quotation preparation, logistics coordination, and on-site installation. Working closely with the team throughout the project lifecycle deepened my understanding of the industry and helped me develop greater confidence, communication skills, and professionalism in a collaborative work environment.
During my internship at Ace Home Studio, I was involved in both the design and installation aspects of custom aluminium cabinetry projects. The experience provided me with valuable exposure to the complete workflow, from design planning and quotations to on-site construction and installation.
Responsibilities
- Designed custom aluminium cabinet solutions using industry design software.
- Assisted in preparing quotations and managing project logistics using Microsoft Excel.
- Supported inventory tracking.
- Worked alongside the installation team on-site to assemble and install custom cabinetry.
- Collaborated with designers, and installers to ensure project requirements were met.
Skills & Growth
Through this internship, I developed practical skills in cabinet design, project coordination, cost estimation, and installation techniques. Beyond the technical experience, I also grew personally by becoming more confident in communicating with colleagues and clients. Working closely with the team encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, be more proactive in and build stronger interpersonal skills.
